Product Specifications and Care

Open Edition Prints:

• Our heavy weight archival paper has a matte finish that compliments and enhances the shine and reflectivity inherent in most of Motorburg's automotive art and mechanical subject matter.

• These fine art prints are produced with the latest in print technology, utilizing an 8 color printing process to provide a truly outstanding range of color richness and detail. This procedure uses grays, light magenta and light cyan, in addition to the 4 process ink colors (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) to produce unsurpassed color reproductions. Black & white prints use both gray and black pigment inks for subtle shading and superb definition.

• The resulting prints have superior water and light resistance. The combination of archival ink and paper technology produces an image with amazing light fastness, color fidelity and stability that significantly outperforms standard printing processes.

Although these prints utilize the finest inks and paper to produce their stable archival quality; as with all fine art prints, the paper and ink manufacturer recommends the following cautions:

• Prints should be displayed in an indoor environment for utmost print longevity.

• It is highly advised that for open display, the prints be displayed under glass or in a plastic sleeve for protection from atmospheric contaminants.

• As with any fine art print, they should be kept away from direct sunlight.

• If prints are to be stored, do so in an acid free, archival sleeve for maximum protection.

Proper care to protect these prints from prolonged exposure to intense light sources and direct sunlight, as well as environmental contaminants, should preserve their graphic richness and detail for many years to come.

2 MUCH TRACK-TION

Dad-gum-mitt, here's what happens when your tires have too much grab at the green light. Our man Nelson shows us what happens when a couple of gnarly blown dragsters come digging off the line together. They'll be rollin' up the road behind them like a ribbon of rubber. The artist confesses that he's not the first cartoonist to come up with this idea, but no one we know of could portray the exaggerated dynamics of the moment any better. It's rip-roarin' good fun and a fiery big block blast.

Crisp black and white print on heavy archival matte paper. Open edition print
