Product Specifications and Care
This Treadmarks - 100% Cotton T-Shirt:
• This 14" X 14" (approx.) serigraph art image is printed on a 100% cotton preshrunk T-Shirt.
• The shirt color is called "Natural" by the manufacturer. It can best be described as very light tan or cream. The design uses white ink to emphasis chrome, surface sparkle and details. This shirt color was chosen as the ideal background to properly highlight and contrast the printed image.
• Each serigraph print is a combination of 8 distinct hand separated layers, individually printed and combined "wet-on-wet" to produce a vivid graphic display of unusual color range and intensity.
• From its inception, the artist for the Treadmarks Line has entrusted the printing to select vendors that use only the finest materials and who maintain the highest quality possible. The mechanical complexity of the designs and the details incorporated therein demand that artist and printer have a symbiotic relationship in order to produce this level of quality silk-screen art. Once you’ve seen a "Treadmarks" imprinted garment, you’ll come to expect that superior level of graphic results.
Although this print uses the finest inks and 100% cotton apparel to produce the richest color and automotive detail; as with any garment print, the ink and apparel manufacturers recommend the following cautions:
• Do not iron the screen print decoration.
• Do not dry clean.
• To wash: turn garment inside out and wash in cold to warm water to prolong color intensity.
• To dry, set machine on medium, and tumble dry.
NOTE: Although these prints are far superior to "iron-ons" and lightweight "process" prints, they are still produced on apparel and require proper washing and maintenance.
Correct care in accordance with the manufacturer’s label will keep this great rod and custom statement sharp and extend your wearing enjoyment.
